SCARBOROUGH — Bryan Kruczek took the checkered flag in the Southern Maine Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 150 at Beech Ridge Speedway on Saturday for his first-ever win in a Super Late Model car.

After holding the lead and losing it early, Kruczek managed to reclaim the top spot when it mattered most and hold off a late charge from Dave Oliver. Joey Doiron took third, followed by Mike Rowe and Farmingdale’s Johnny Clark. Farmington’s Cassius Clark was ninth and Manchester’s Reid Lanpher was 32nd after finishing just 22 laps.

In the 35-lap PASS modifieds race, Ryan Robbins held of Doug McClue for the win, while Kevin Hutchens took home the top spot in the Wick Cool Midget race. Toby Wells claimed the victory in the 50-lap race for NEMST Mini Stocks.

WISCASSET — Jeff Burgess, of Fairfield, started in ninth, took over the lead by the fifth lap and held on from there to win the 40-lap Prostock feature at Wiscasset Speedway on Saturday.

Andy Saunders and Nick Hinkley finished in second and third, respectively.

Richmond’s Leandra Martin started in the pole position, but could not hold onto her lead and settled for second behind Ryan Chadwick in the 30-lap Thunder 4 Mini race.

In an exciting 25-lap New England Four Cylinder Prostock race Jeff Prindall held off Jacob Hendsbee for the win. Kamren Knowles, a 14-year-old driver from West Gardiner, spun out into the infield on lap 23 but still managed to pull out a third-place finish.

James Osmond won in the 20-lap Wicked Good Vintage race, while Josh Bailey took the checkered flag in the 25-lap Napa Super Streets race.
