Bikers, runners and walkers are once again getting the chance to enjoy the wide open lanes of Baxter Boulevard.
The road will be closed to cars on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Vannah Avenue to Payson Park. The closures will continue every Sunday through October 25.
The city began the Sunday closures last year and found that there was a significant increase in the number of people using the road to ride bikes, skateboard, roller blades and enjoy other recreational activities when it was closed to cars.
