LEWISTON — MT. BLUE 13, LEWISTON 4: Kasadie Barker had a 3-run inside-the-park home run to lead the Mt. Blue softball team to a 13-4 win in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday against Lewiston.

Addie Brinkman and Mariah Martin each had doubles for the Cougars (3-4).

Jordan Mynahan had two singles for the Blue Devils (0-7).

MESSALONSKEE 7, BANGOR 1: Kristy Prelgovisk and Sarah Labbe homered to lead Messalonskee to the KVAC victory over Bangor in Bangor.

MollyAn Killingbeck added three hits for the Eagles (6-1), while Kirsten Pelletier scattered five hits and a walk while striking out 10 to pick up the victory in the circle. Emily Gilmore had two hits including a double for the Rams (6-1).

NOKOMIS 13, MCI 0: Elizabeth Dunivan smacked a triple for the Warriors in a KVAC B win over the Huskies in Pittsfield.

Sydney Hanson and Shannon Kasprzak each had two singles for Nokomis (4-2).

Kali Doiron had three singles for MCI (0-6). Lexi Caldwell added two singles.

SKOWHEGAN 2, BREWER 1, 9 innings: Bonnie-Jane Aiken had two hits, including a double, to lead the Indians past the Witches in a KVAC A game in Brewer.

Ashley Alward picked up the win in the circle for Skowhegan (6-0).

Delaney Davis had a double for Brewer (2-3).

ERSKINE 10, MORSE 5: Avery Bond had three hits, including a double, to lead the Eagles to a win over the Shipbuilders in South China.

Amber Grady had two hits, including a double, while Mackenzie Gayer had two singles for Erskine (4-2).

Sarah Gray had a triple for Morse (3-3).

HAMPDEN 7, LAWRENCE 6, 8 innings: Paige Belanger had three hits, including a double, but it wasn’t enough for the Bulldogs, who fell to the Broncos in Hampden.

Sydney Knowlton had two doubles, while Sarah Chace and Haley Holt each added two hits for Lawrence (2-5).

Julia Sicard had three hits, including the game-winning single in the eighth inning, for Hampden (1-5).

RICHMOND 19, VALLEY 0, 5 innings: Sydney Tilton smacked a triple as well as a grand slam in the Bobcats’ win over the Cavaliers in Richmond.

Tilton had six RBIs on the afternoon, and picked up the win in the circle for Richmond (4-0).

Kelsie Obie had two singles, while Kalah Patterson had three singles and two RBIs for the Bobcats.

Valley falls to 0-4.

BASEBALL

HAMPDEN 5, LAWRENCE 3: Tommy Farrar had two hits and picked up the complete game win on the mound as Hampden edged Lawrence.

J.T. Nutting had two hits for the Bulldogs (2-5) while Derek Bowen added a triple.

MORSE 2, ERSKINE 0: Jacob Cressey scattered six hits and went the distance to shut out Erskine in South China.

Keegan McDonouth had a double to lead the Shipbuilders (3-4). Dylan Presby threw 5.1 innings of shutout relief and Nate Martin hit a double for the Eagles (2-4).

GIRLS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 8, CHEVERUS 7, OT: Allyssa Turner scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Eagles a win over the Stags in Portland.

Nathalie St. Pierre, who had four goals, had an assist on Turner’s game-winner.

India Languet added three goals and two assists for Messalonskee (4-0).

Allie Scott had three goals for Cheverus (0-2).

BOYS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 10, MT. ARARAT 6: Connor Smith had four goals and an assist to pace the Eagles to the win in Oakland. Dylan Jones and Austin Pelletier chipped in with two goals and one assist each for Messalonskee (3-2). Dylan Burton and Alden Balboni had the other goals. Elija Tuell made 10 saves and also got his first assist.

Jake Schoenderb had two goals and an assist for Mt. Ararat (1-4) while Kyle Lussier, Ben Bishop and Jason Magno scored one each. Charlie Gil made 12 saves.
