BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Jack Money pitched a perfect game as Madison defeated Boothbay, 17-0, in Mountain Valley Conference baseball action Wednesday afternoon.

The game was shortened to five innings by the 10-run rule. Money retired all 15 batters he faced. He finished the game with eight strikeouts.

Chase Malloy hit a pair of doubles and drove in four runs for Madison (3-3). Tristan Emery drove in three runs for the Bulldogs. Cody Soucier and Evan Bess each drove in a pair of runs

OAK HILL 15, MT. ABRAM 1, 5 innings: Dalton Therrien and Jake Bannister each drove in four runs to lead the Raiders to the MVC win.

Kaleb Morrissette earned the win, and helped his cause with two RBIs.

Mt. Abram pitchers walked 10 hitters. Chris Howard drove in the Roadrunners run. Oak Hill is 3-3, Mt. Abram is 1-5.

SOFTBALL

MADISON 39, BOOTHBAY 1, 5 innings: Erin Whalen had six hits and Aly LeBlanc had two doubles, two singles, and a home run as the Bulldogs crunched the Seahawks in Boothbay Harbor.

LeBlanc and Madeline Wood each drove in five runs for Madison (6-0). The Bulldogs had 32 hits overall, including four by Tori McLaughlin. Destiny Howes and Marah Hall combined to go 4 for 5 off the bench.

Cagney O’Brien walked twice and scored a run for Boothbay (2-4).

OAK HILL 15, MT. ABRAM 0, 5 innings: Jamie Prue and Sadie Goulet each had three hits as the Raiders blanked the Roadrunners in Wales.

Grace Sabine, Brooke Surette, Emma Hlister, and Makayla Nadeau added two hits apiece for Oak Hill (3-3). Hlister and Goulet each drove in three runs, while Nadeau and Charlotte Waterman combined to pitch a one-hitter.

Mt. Abram is 1-4.
