It appears that 2015 is a year where Readfield property taxes could be at risk.
I urge residents to be sure to get out and vote for what matters to them.
• The annual RSU 38 budget meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 13 in the Maranacook High School Gym.
• Public hearings about the ballot questions will be held 6-8 p.m. May 27 and May 28.
• Voting, including the final RSU budget vote, will be at the polls 8 a.m.-8 p.m. June 9.
For me, the top issues are road maintenance at a fair cost and controlled property taxes.
