FREEPORT — Andy Grammer, Rosanne Cash and The Mavericks are among the nationally known acts scheduled to play L.L. Bean’s annual “Summer in the Park” free concert series this year.
The shows are held at 7:30 Saturday nights from July into September, in L.L. Bean’s Discovery Park, adjacent to the company’s flagship store. People are allowed to bring lawn chairs to the shows.
This year’s schedule, posted on the L.L. Bean website, includes seven shows so far: The Mavericks (country/Latin) on July 4; Dawes (folk rock) on July 25; Rosanne Cash (singer-songwriter) on Aug. 1; Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox (jazz) on Aug. 8; Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue (jazz, hip hop and rock) on Aug. 15; Lake Street Dive (soul, jazz) on Aug. 29; and Andy Grammer (pop rock) on Sept. 5.
