Madison
Madison’s Memorial Day parade is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, May 25. Line up will begin at 9 a.m. at Garret Schenck School in Anson. All Boy and Girl Scout troops, school teams, bands, etc. are all welcome to join.
A ceremony will be held at Anson Veterans’ Monument and Madison Library with guest speaker Brad Farrin, state legislator of House of Representatives for District 111, representing Madison, Norridgewock and Solon.
Other Memorial Day ceremonies are planned for 1 p.m. at the Joseph Quirion Monument in East Madison, and at 2 p.m. at Starks Community Center.
