Karleen White, of Augusta, was presented the 2015 Waterville Elks Mother of the Year award by Exalted Ruler Sandi Anderson during the Waterville Elks Lodge 905 annual Mother’s Day Brunch and Ceremony.
The event has been hosted annually by the Waterville Elks Lodge for the past several years. This year’s event was held at the Waterville Elks Banquet & Conference Center on Industrial Street in Waterville. Many Elk members volunteer their time on Mother’s Day to prepare the brunch meal which is open and served to the public, according to the release.
