NEWCASTLE — Ryan Rodrigue retired 15 of the final 16 Lincoln hitters en route to a no-hitter as Erskine won 6-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball game Friday.

Rodrigue struck out nine and walked three in seven innings and also helped his own cause with a double. Zack Isbell went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Eagles (8-4) while Nick Turcotte added two hits and two RBIs.

MESSALONSKEE 15, SKOWHEGAN 0, 5 innings: Jake Dexter had three hits — including two doubles — to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A win in Oakland.

Jonathan Wilkie added two doubles for Messalonskee (11-2). Trevor Gettig, Jared Cunningham and Zach Mathieu each added two singles.

Dylan Blanchet smacked a double for Skowhegan (3-10). Mike Berry had two singles.

WINTHROP 10, WISCASSET 0, 5 innings: Bennett Brooks had a double and triple to lead the Ramblers to a Mountain Valley Conference win in Winthrop.

Brooks also earned the win on the mound, striking out three batters. Matt Sekerak added two singles for Winthrop (9-2).

Wiscasset falls to 4-9.

RICHMOND 15, RANGELEY 1, 5 innings: Cameron Emmons smacked a double at the plate and earned the win on the mound for the Bobcats in an East/West Conference win in Rangeley.

Emmons struck out 10 batters for Richmond (11-1). Mike Stewart had three hits, while Brendan Emmons hit a double.

Ricky Thompson hit a home run and a double for Rangeley (1-7).

MESSALONSKEE 3, SKOWHEGAN 2, 8 innings: Kristy Prelgovisk’s home run in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Eagles the KVAC A victory in Oakland.

Eliza Bedard homered for Skowhegan (8-5). Kirsten Pelletier struck out 14 in the win for Messalonskee (11-2).

Ashley Alward fanned 13 hitters for Skowhegan.

TELSTAR 8, OAK HILL 1: Telstar scored eight runs in the sixth inning to overwhelm Oak Hill for the MVC win in Bethel.

Emma Lister and Brook Surette had triples for the Raiders (8-5) while Makayla Nadeau and Iris Abbott doubled. Olivia York scattered nine hits to pick up the win in the circle for the Rebels (10-2).

RICHMOND 14, RANGELEY 0, 5 innings: Meranda Martin had a triple, a single and an RBI to lead the Bobcats to the East/West Conference win in Rangeley.

Martin also picked up the win, allowing just two singles. Cameron Hurley added two singles and three RBIs for Richmond (11-0).

Natalie Brooks and Celia Philbrook each singled for Rangeley (4-4).

LINCOLN 1, ERSKINE 0: Lincoln scored the game’s lone run in the bottom of the fifth inning to take the KVAC B pitcher’s duel.

With the win, Lincoln improved to 12-0. Mallory Chamberlain gave up two hits in the loss for Erskine (7-5).

WINSLOW 19, MARANACOOK 7: Winslow pounded out 20 hits to defeat Maranacook in a KVAC B matchup in Readfield.

Brooke Haskell had a triple and two singles and drove in five runs to lead the Black Raiders (10-2), while Hillary Libby tripled twice, singled and drove in two. Hayley Pottle added three singles, two RBIs and scored three times. Tabie Tlumac had two hits and drove in a run for the Black Bears (4-8).

CONY 8, OXFORD HILLS 5: Arika Brochu had three hits, including a triple, and three RBIs to lead Cony to a KVAC A win in South Paris.

Brochu also limited Oxford Hills to three hits to pick up the victory in the circle. Skyler Watson added three singles and Haley Ward a triple for the Rams (10-3). Anna Winslow had a triple for the Vikings.

WINTHROP 23, WISCASSET 11: Molly Glaser and Kayleigh Oberg both tripled and drove in three runs apiece to lead Winthrop to the win in an MVC slugfest played in Wiscasset.

Ashley Dunham picked up the win in the circle for the Ramblers (2-9).

GARDINER 16, MORSE 7: Josh Caldwell scored five goals as Gardiner won the KVAC matchup.

Connor Manter added four goals for the Tigers (8-2). Alec Beveridge led the Shipbuilders with three goals.
