National Cancer Survivors Day: Hope Grows Here is planned for Sunday, June 7, at the Dempsey Center, 29 Lowell St., 5th Floor, Lewiston.
The event, for cancer survivors and caregivers of all ages, will feature a panel of cancer survivors and caregivers who will share their stories of hope, according to a news release from the center.
The event also will feature door prizes, terra cotta pot decorating, a photographer and music by Ron Bergeron, as well as workshops including guided imagery, create your own healing garden, healthy cooking demonstrations, Reiki, gardening and more, according to the release.
