WATERVILLE — Loyal Biscuit Co. hosted a Micro Chipping Clinic May 23 at its Waterville location. Twenty-one pets had a rice-sized microchip implanted under their skin, which resulted in $525 being raised for the Humane Society Waterville Area, according to a news release from the company.

“We are very happy with the turn out from the clinic. Not only were we able to raise money for one of our local shelters, but this means that 21 pets are more likely to make it home safe should they ever become lost,” said Heidi Neal, owner of the Loyal Biscuit Co. said in the release.
