WATERVILLE — Area students recently were named to the 2015 spring semester dean’s list at Colby College for their outstanding academic achievement. The dean’s list at Colby is highly selective, this spring reserved for students with a semester grade point average of 3.76 or higher.

Dean’s list students recognized:

Caitlin Farrington, of South China, is a member of the class of 2018. She is the daughter of Neil and Doreen Farrington, of South China, and attended Erskine Academy.

Anna Herling, of Bowdoin, is a member of the class of 2016. She is the daughter of Douglas and Linda Herling, of Bowdoin, and attended Cheverus High School.

Joseph Shagoury, of Hallowell, is a member of the class of 2015. He is the son of Daniel and Juliet Shagoury, of Hallowell, and attended Hall-Dale High School.

Cody Whitcomb, of Pittston, is a member of the class of 2016. He is the son of Ronald and Janie Whitcomb, of Pittston, and attended Gardiner Area High School.

Carylanne Wolfington, of Hampden, is a member of the class of 2016. She is the daughter of Henry Wolfington, of Hallowell, and Tonya Wolfington, of Hampden, and attended Hall-Dale High School.

Xiaojie Chen, of Wilton, is a member of the class of 2016. He is the son of Liting and Sumei Chen of Wilton, and attended Mount Blue High School.

Lucas Fortier, of Skowhegan, is a member of the class of 2015. He is the son of Mark and Jayne Fortier, of Skowhegan, and attended Skowhegan Area High School.

Megan Labbe, of Jay, is a member of the class of 2016. She is the daughter of Tracy Arcari, of Jay, and Peter Labbe, of Jay, and attended Spruce Mountain High School.

Danielle Palmer, of Topsham, is a member of the class of 2018. She is the daughter of Carmen Palmer, of Topsham, and Kelly Palmer, of Topsham, and attended Mount Ararat School.

Calvin Robbins, of Waldoboro, is a member of the class of 2017. He is the son of Bradford and Kelly Robbins, of Waldoboro, and attended Camden Hills Regional High School.
