The Belgrade Historical Society will sponsor a program beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Maine Lakes Resource Center in Belgrade Lakes Village.

Les Fossel, whose company is Restoration Resources, will present a program about Belgrade’s early houses. He will talk about ways to date an old house and determine from its features what changes were made over the years, according to a news release from the historical society.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring pictures of their houses if they have any questions. Fossel also will talk about ways old houses can be made more energy efficient and adapted to modern living. Admission charge is $5; members free. For more information, call 465-7058.
