Waterville’ Spectrum Generations Muskie Center to offer a van trip Friday, July 17, for a two-hour mariner cruise on Snow Pond.
Those interested can cruise over Messalonskee Lake on the luxury Snowdrifter 2 and enjoy the views of Rock Island and the renowned New England Music Camp among many other sights. Capt. Gary Bennett, a registered Maine Guide, will talk about the history of the lake.
A lunch stop is planned at Early Bird Restaurant in Oakland after the cruise; everyone buys their own lunch. Transportation cost is $22. The van will leave the Muskie Center at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required by calling 873-4745, or stop at reception desk to sign up, and remember to bring a camera.
