Jefferson Historical Society open house set
The Jefferson Historical Society’s Annual Open House is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Old Jefferson Town Hosue, 7 Gardiner Road, according to a news release from the society.
The Lake House photo will be displayed as one of the photos in the Jefferson Historical Society’s Calendar for 2016. The calendar will be available during the open house and exhibit day set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. Contributed photo
There will be a homemade cookie sale, local historic photographs 2016 calendar, exhibits and displays, and local memorabilia will be featured at an extensive exhibit of old photographs of Jefferson farms and lake-related activities will be a highlight.
Weather permitting, Ralph Bond’s 19th century horse-drawn hearse, used by S. H Bond, will be displayed outside.
