Jefferson Historical Society open house set
The Jefferson Historical Society’s Annual Open House is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Old Jefferson Town Hosue, 7 Gardiner Road, according to a news release from the society.
There will be a homemade cookie sale, local historic photographs 2016 calendar, exhibits and displays, and local memorabilia will be featured at an extensive exhibit of old photographs of Jefferson farms and lake-related activities will be a highlight.
Weather permitting, Ralph Bond’s 19th century horse-drawn hearse, used by S. H Bond, will be displayed outside.
