The 58th reunion of the descendants of John and Florrie Blackburn Hargreaves was hosted by Richard and Glenda Hargreaves and their family Sunday, July 5, at their Porter Lake home in New Vineyard. The photo includes several grandchildren of John and Florrie who attended the first reunion in 1958. They are accompanied by descendants of John and Florrie’s five children spanning several generations. The elder Hargreaves’ emigrated from England to Canada in the early 1900s, later making a move to North Anson, Maine.

A day of socializing, activities on the water and a potluck lunch was enjoyed by the families. Attendees came from several Maine towns, including one from Virginia.
