July 21, police recovered missing property, including a pair of sneakers and a laptop computer.

July 22, there were reports of theft at two locations. A utility trailer worth about $200 was stolen sometime between July 20 and 22, and a Mercury 8 horsepower outboard boat motor worth about $800 was stolen from a boat that day.

Thursday, a trailer being pulled by a 2015 GMC Silverado, which was being driven south on Route 127 by a 62-year-old Springvale man, was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck that was being driven south by a 35-year-old Augusta man. The Silverado’s driver had slowed to look for an address. The driver of the other pickup failed to see the truck and trailer in time and swerved to miss both. The 2500 clipped the trailer and rolled over before coming to a rest in the roadway.

Sunday, there was a report of a broken mailbox post and a stolen push mower, shovel and rake.

A 1991 Chevrolet Camaro being driven north on Middle Road by a 57-year-old China man hit a 2006 Ford Five Hundred being driven by a 17-year-old Nobleboro girl when the Ford pulled out of Indian Road to turn left on Middle Road. The Ford’s driver did not see the Camaro and pulled out in front of the car.

July 21, there was a complaint of mischief at Highland Cemetery. The caller reported the theft of an antique urn that held ashes of a deceased person and of a fire pit in a section of the cemetery. Someone had used the pit and left empty, burned beer cans. Police placed the cemetery on a watch list.

July 22, two 5-gallon containers of gasoline were reportedly stolen from a home.

MONMOUTH

Monday at 5:16 p.m., there was a report of a burglary on Tillson Road.

7:10 p.m., theft was reported on Main Street.

Monday at 6:45 p.m., an Augusta pair was arrested by police responding to a report of disorderly conduct. Valerie Murphy Naiva, 49, was charged with disorderly conduct and Charles Luther Lowe, 39, was charged on a probation hold.

7:43 p.m., Steven G. Flannery, 23, of Augusta, was arrested on a probation hold by police responding to a report of disorderly conduct on Water Street.

HALLOWELL

Tuesday at 1:38 a.m., Tasha Malone, 23, of Augusta, was arrested on warrants by police responding to a report of suspicious activity on Water Street.

JEFFERSON

July 22, Christopher D. Schisler, 38, of Rockland, was arrested on a charge of unlawful sexual touching on State Park Road.

Thursday, Luke N. Dale-Smith, 30, of Wiscasset, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, reckless violation of a protection order, criminal threatening and domestic violence terrorizing on Waldoboro Road.
