FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College will hold an Admit in a Day event Thursday, Aug. 20, to give potential students a one-stop option for enrolling in classes for the fall 2015 semester.

The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Lunder Library building at the Fairfield campus of KVCC, 92 Western Ave., according to a KVCC news release.

Participants should plan to arrive by 1 p.m. Placement exams will begin at 1:30 p.m. and students must be checked in before that time if planning to take the exam.

Students need to bring an official sealed copy of their high school transcript, immunization records, and 2014 federal tax forms and W-2 forms. Those with previous college credits should also bring a sealed copy of their college transcript(s) for review.

The event is free and open to the public. Application and exam fees will be waived for those who attend.

Prospective students will be guided by professional advisors as they take placement exams, fill out applications, apply for financial aid, and are reviewed for admission.
