Manchester Fine Art and Craft Show

MANCHESTER — Designing Women, a non-profit volunteer corporation that celebrates female artisans and works to support other local, non-profit organizations that help women and families, will hold its 9th annual juried fine art and craft showfrom 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Longfellow’s Greenhouses, l81 Puddleduck Road.

More than 20 Maine’s artisans, featuring handmade and crafted pottery, weaving, stained glass, jewelry, clothing, home decorations and accents, handmade soaps and body care, and more. Returning a will be an “Emerging Female Artisan” tent, which will showcase some of Maine’s newest talent. Live music performed by Twisted Strings will be featured. The suggested $2 door donation and all lunch/refreshment proceeds will be donated to The Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center, according to a news release from the center.
