Brittney Castonguay and Cameron Smith have announced their engagement.

Brittney, of Livermore, is the daughter of Jackie and Donald Castonguay, of Livermore. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where she majored in early childhood special education and minored in rehabilitation. She also is a certified behavior health professional. She is employed by Regional School Unit 73 in Livermore, where she works in the pre-kindergarten classroom.

Cameron, of South Portland, is the son of Michelle Kenney, of Fairfield, and Ken Smith, of Benton. He is a 2012 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College, where he received an associate degree in radiologic technology. He then attended the University of Southern Maine and recently graduated with a biology degree. He plans to further his education by attending medical school. He is employed by Papa Johns in Portland.

An Aug. 20, 2016, wedding is planned.
