A Norridgewock teen was arrested Wednesday after being recorded speeding at double the speed limit Wednesday in New Sharon.
Franklin County Deputy Matt Brann was stationed near New Sharon village on U.S. Route 2 monitoring traffic when he clocked a vehicle traveling toward Farmington speeding 80 mph in a 40-mph zone, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Trey Michonski, 18, of Norridgewock, was pulled over and arrested on a charge of criminal speed. Nobody else was in the vehicle, according to Nichols.
