WATERVILLE – More than $13,000 was raised at the 14th annual Swing for Hope & Hospice Golf Tournament held on July 13 at the Waterville Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Hope’s Place, a program for grieving children, teens and their families.

A total of 13 teams from throughout the surrounding communities took part in the event. Prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gross as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd net. The tournament also featured closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, straightest drive and a putting contest.
