Vegan potluck, movie planned for Oct. 2
AUGUSTA — A Vegan potluck supper and movie are set for 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the Unitarian Universalist Commuinty Church, 69 Winthrop St. A vegan cookbook, a copy of the movie, and flower arrangements will be door prizes. Bring recipes to share, and learn about the effect that eating choices have on the environment, according to a news release from event organizers.
The movie “Cowspiracy” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. This free event is offered by the Peaceful Heart Sangha and the Unitarian Universalist Community Church.
