OAKLAND — Kennebec Valley Community Action Program’s Family Enrichment Council to offer free parenting classes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 19 and 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23, at Oakland Adult Education, 131 Messalonskee High Drive.
Active Parenting Now, a six-session video and discussion program for parents and care providers of children ages 5-12, is designed to help raise responsible children by using effective discipline techniques and encouragement skills. Deb Rich is presenter, according to a KVCAP news relase.
