King is a Maine native who lives in upstate New York. He is the son of Stephen and Tabitha King. He spoke to 40 people in the Stephen King Foundation meeting room, which was part of the Bailey Library’s recent $1 million expansion. The King Foundation granted $50,000 toward the Winthrop project.
