FAIRFIELD — It took a little while for the Lawrence football team to get going Friday night, but once it did it never stopped in a 45-18 win over Hampden in a Pine tree Conference Class B game Friday night at Keyes Field.

Walker Thomas rushed for three touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (1-4), who earned their first victory of the season.

Braden Ballard also threw two touchdown passes, one to Tyler Larouche for 18 yards and another to Seth Powers for 30 yards.

The teams were tied 0-0 at the end of the first quarter before Lawrence scored 17 points to pull away for good.

Larouche also rushed for a touchdown.

BREWER 50, CONY 12: Anthony Brunelle caught a touchdown pass in the first half and Nijual Davis had a touchdown reception in the second half but it wasn’t enough for the Rams in a PTC B game in Brewer.

MESSALONSKEE 42, NOKOMIS 0: Jack Bernatchez rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries as the Eagles (3-2) rolled past the Warriors (0-5). He also had 14 tackles and a sack. Colby Dexter rushed for 79 yards and two scores.

Yan Gusmanov returned a punt for a touchdown as well.

WINSLOW 68, OCEANSIDE 0: Jacob Trask threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another as the Raiders rolled to the Big Ten Conference victory.

Trask threw a 61 touchdown pass to Hunter Campbell and then an 84-yard pass to Dylan Hutchinson.

Kenny Rickard and Ryan Gagnon also rushed for two scores while Trenton Bouchard had a 70-yard punt return for a score.
