The State Fire Marshal’s Office has determined that a small fire in a Wells motel room Saturday is not suspicious, the Wells Fire Department said Sunday.
The fire at the Tallwood Motel at 2203 Post Road was reported at 11:30 p.m. Saturday. It was quickly extinguished and no one was reported hurt.
No cause has been determined yet, but fire investigators do not believe it was intentionally set, said Wells Fire Capt. Jeff Nawfel.
