China Village Cemetery in China will host a 2015 National Wreaths Across America program at noon Saturday, Dec. 12.

Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, states in a news release its mission is remembering, honoring and teaching under the 2015 central theme: “Cemeteries are for the living.”

Remembrance wreaths will be placed at the headstones of fallen veterans at more than 1,000 locations across the country and overseas.

Helen Sprague is the location leader, she is a member of the Abigail Wolcott Ellsworth chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Windsor, Connecticut. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Fletcher, of Albion, will be in charge of the wreath laying ceremony. The event is free and open to the public.
