WATERVILLE — Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will hold its annual Lights for Life open house and lighting of the Memorial Healing Garden from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Hospice Community Center, 304 Main St.

Hospice staff, volunteers and members of the community take time each year to celebrate the memory of loved ones who have died by participating in the Lights for Life program in December. The lighting of the Hospice Memorial Healing Garden will take place at 6:15 p.m. Refreshments, fellowship and warm hospitality will precede the lighting ceremony.

The lights in the Hospice Memorial Healing Garden, outside the Hospice Community Center, will stay on throughout December. During this time names of family members and friends will appear in a place of honor within the Hospice Community Center.
