Volk Packaging Corporation in Biddeford will donate a Veteran’s Box to veteran’s families to honor individual once they have passed on. Often times when a veteran is called home, their personal effects and special belongings are placed in a plain recycled carton. Volk Packaging Corporation wants to honor these brave men and women by offering a special carton to the families so they can carry their loved ones’ items home in a container that shows respect and appreciation for their sacrifice.
The objective is to get these cartons into as many veterans hospitals and nursing home facilities that cares for the veterans in Maine and throughout New England.
Derek and Sen. Amy Volk, owner of Volk Packaging, will send the boxes throughout the state, including Togus VA Hospital in Augusta.
