Active Parenting Now, a six-session video and discussion program for parents and care providers of children ages 5-12, will be offered from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 22 through March 28. Classes will be in room 206 at Messalonskee High School in Oakland.
This program, offered through KVCAP Family Enrichment Council, is designed to help raise responsible children by using effective discipline techniques and encouragement skills. Storm make-ups will be on Tuesdays immediately following a Monday storm cancellation.
The cost is $5. For more information, call Deb Rich at 859-1580. The program is limit to 15 students.
