Gardiner Police seized drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia following an investigation Saturday of a suspicious vehicle in a church parking lot.
Police say they discovered 38 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of heroin, more than $2,000 and drug paraphernalia in the car around 9:30 p.m.
They arrested Robert Saucier, 33, whom they list as transient and charged him with two counts of trafficking a scheduled drug and one count of sale or use of drug paraphernalia.
Saucier is being held at the Kennebec County jail on $2,500 bail.
