Along with hot chocolate, “candy grams” and fireworks, students at Waterville’s Thomas College were treated to an ice sculpture demonstration Wednesday by sculptor Jesse Bouchard, who created a sculpture of the school’s logo.

The ice sculpture demonstration, which took place in front of the Ayotte Center, was part of the school’s student appreciation day.

The day also included a breakfast pizza party, dog sledding, a professional and career drop-in event, snow flag football and a casino night.

Bouchard, of Scarborough, owns Frozen in Time, a South Portland ice sculpture business, and is also a professional chef.
