Windsor Elementary School students recently won the statewide Maine Secretary of State’s Native American History and Culture Essay Contest. Riley Sullivan placed first and Avery Henningson and Emma Hutchinson tied for second). The judges did not know either the students’ names or their school when they make their decision.
They were surprised all winners were from the same school.
