Erskine Academy students and staff attended a Renaissance Assembly on April 8 to honor their peers with Renaissance Awards in South China.
Recognition Awards were presented to the following students: Matt Clary, Caleigh Charlebois, Aubrey Hendsbee, Eleanor Theriault, Corvus Crump, Emma Solorzano, Shane Staples and Elizabeth Sugg.
In addition to Recognition Awards, Senior of the Trimester Awards were presented to six students: Theresa Gervais, daughter of Carrie and Michael Gervais, of Chelsea; Mallory Chamberlain, daughter of Jennifer and Peter Chamberlain, of China; Raymond Weymouth, son of Tamara and Shawn Weymouth, of Palermo; Abigail Cooper, daughter of Deidre and Phil Dail, of Vassalboro, and Fred Cooper, of Chelsea; and Autumn and Rachel Read, daughters of Lenore Reitze, of China. Seniors of the Trimester are recognized as individuals who have gone above and beyond in all aspects of their high school careers.
Three Faculty of the Trimester awards were presented to Michael Soule, science instructor; Diane Dow, school nurse; and Jane Godbout, administrative assistant to the headmaster.
