Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce has released its 2016-17 area guidebook. This 72-page, full-color publication profiles the 18 communities that comprise the Mid-Maine Chamber region, as well as its area K-12 and post-secondary schools and libraries, religious institutions, area dining guide, places of interest, government resources and membership directory.

Twenty thousand copies were printed on SAPPI paper and are distributed to all chamber members in order to encourage members to utilize the services of other members. Additionally, the Guide to Better Living in Mid-Maine will be distributed in area lodging facilities, real estate agencies, economic development organizations, at all rest stops around the state, member colleges, those doing employee recruitment, and is the major fulfillment piece for tourism requests.

This publication has added features not found in past issues including a pet-friendly section, enhanced transportation information and more recreational offerings such as birding. Many of the photos throughout the guidebook were provided by area photographers that responded to a Mid-Maine Chamber Facebook request providing a colorful and lively booklet.

For a complimentary copy, stop by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, 50 Elm St., in Waterville, or any municipal town office in the region.
