It’s true what they say about losing your memory when you get old. I’m 85 years old and was watching the presidential debates on TV and trying to remember back to when I voted for the first time.

I’m not even sure at what age you had to be back then, but I was trying to remember in all my years of listening or watching all those debates if I’d ever seen or heard anything as disgusting as the ones going on for this year’s election. For the life of me, I came up with a blank.

I’m not sure if it’s old age or if it’s this year’s rotten political campaigns. I’d appreciate hearing from you old-timers if any of you are having my problems on remembering any dirtier campaigns.
