UNION — Lou Sapienza, Chairman of the Fallen American Veterans Foundation, will show a video and speak on the work of the Foundation in a Memorial Day program set for 7 p.m. Monday, May 30, at Vose Library, 392 Common Road.

Based in Hope, FAVF advocates for the families of the missing and educates the public on the Congressional mandate to recover all 83,000 U.S. Service Personnel designated Missing In Action.

The foundation honors the promise of “Leave No Man Behind” as a specialist to the U.S. Department of Defense in the search and recovery of U.S. Service Personnel Missing In Action in the most remote and hostile parts of the world. In conjunction with North South Polar Inc., The organization has 53 MIA’s on their search and recovery docket.
