On Tuesday, June 14, Senate District 14 Democratic voters have an opportunity to nominate an extraordinary young woman as our candidate. Shenna Bellows knows how to get things done. Shenna is the former director of the Maine Civil Liberties Union. She spearheaded the marriage equality and same-day voter registration initiatives, successful campaigns restoring and extending Mainers’ rights and liberties. During her 2014 U.S. Senate campaign, Shenna travelled the entire state meeting voters and listening to their concerns. Shenna raised the level of debate, discussing important issues, while remaining at all times civil.

Shenna actively serves on the Manchester conservation commission. Whether it’s building bog bridges at Shedd Pond, organizing Manchester’s annual roadside litter cleanup, or writing grant proposals to support trail projects, Shenna works diligently, taking on tough tasks, and always following through on commitments. On June 14, please vote for Shenna Bellows for state Senate.
