Regarding the latest fiasco of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (“North Woods lawless,” May 8), several things have become apparent.
First, someone from that department should be doing jail time. We all know that won’t happen, because jail time is just for the “common folk,” not the pedestal-seated custodians of that department.
If any business in this state remotely copied the actions of that outfit, the state would shut them down, immediately.
The one thing in all of this that is unquestionably clear — the wardens only do what their superiors allow them to do.
Commissioner Chandler Woodcock has got to go.
