The Jefferson Area Community Food Pantry recently received 500 pounds of non-perishable food from the annual National Association Of Letter Carriers food drive held May 14. Postal carriers, workers collected dozens and dozens of food bags; the pantry’s shelves are overflowing.
The pantry’s distribution days are held monthly on the second and forth Wednesdays at St. Giles Church, 72 Gardiner Road, Route 126, Jefferson. For more information, call 315-1134.
