The Gardiner Rotary Club will sponsor a free electronic waste collection event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until full capacity reached on Saturday, June 4, at O’Connor’s Auto Park-VW lot, 199 Riverside Drive, Augusta.
Rotarians will be on hand to help unload vehicles and will dispose of the following items: televisions, CPUs, monitors, copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, laptops, stereos, keyboards and other computer peripherals, DVD players, cellphones, remote controls, VCRs, gaming systems, pagers, microwaves, digital cameras, tape players, PDAs, speakers, telephones, two-way radios, answering machines, camcorders, CD players and typewriters.
This is a fundraising event for the Gardiner Rotary Club and donations will be accepted.
