Belgrade will hold a Memorial Day observance at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, at the Old Town Houseo on Cemetery Road. In the event of rain, the event will take place at Belgrade Central School.
The observance will include a parade with Belgrade fire trucks, guest speaker Brig. Gen. Hugh T. Corbett, assistant adjutant general, Army Maine National Guard; placement of the wreath by Boy Scout Troop 453, bagpipers and Messalonskee High School soloists. Gary Mahler will be master of ceremonies.
