Saturday, June 25, was one of our gorgeous Maine summer days. What could be better than that?
I was invited as a birthday gift from my step-daughter to partake in the Kennebec Valley Garden Club “Tour of Special Gardens.” What a wonderful day it was! We started at 10:30 a.m. and visited seven out of nine very special gardens. The hosts and hostesses were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I believe it was about 2:30 p.m. when we broke for lunch and called it a day.
There was so much to see, to admire and to inspire. Thank you to all the host and hostesses and the ladies of the Kennebec Valley Garden Club for all the hard work in putting this event together for all to enjoy. Your efforts were very much appreciated.
