DAMARISCOTTA — Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St., will host its weekly lunch and learn program at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3.

Following the luncheon, Sherry Flint, founder and president of Inn Along the Way, will discuss this unique and innovative community model, which is being developed on the Chapman property. The property’s design will enable older adults live interdependently in a neighborhood-style setting of small, environmentally friendly, accessible homes.

The mission of Inn Along the Way is to support and enrich the lives of those in our communities with an emphasis on elders, the infirm, and those who care for them, through environment, education, the arts and gentle companioning.

Luncheon reservations are required. Call 563-1363 by noon Monday, Aug. 1, to make roast pork luncheon reservation. For those 60 and older the suggested donation is $5 per person. For all other community members cost is $6 per person.
