PORTLAND — Eliza Jane Mullen, Pharm.D., daughter of Jeffrey and Robbin Mullen, of Wayne, was awarded the degree of doctor of pharmacy with honors (cum laude) from the University of New England College of Pharmacy, at commencement ceremonies were held at the Cross Insurance Arena on Saturday, May 21.
UNE graduated 88 pharmacists at the ceremony. On the following day, the pharmacists received their hoods — the most symbolic part of the academic regalia — at a separate hooding ceremony at Westbrook Performing Arts Center.
Mullen is employed by Rite Aid pharmacy and will be practicing in the central New Hampshire area.
