JACKMAN — The Jackman-Moose River Valley Historical Society will celebrate its 25th anniversary at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Historical Society Museum, 574 Main St. Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 28.

The museum will be dedicated to the founding members of the society.

The society will honor the memories of the society’s longtime President Howard “Shupe” Paradise and former town manager Kathleen MacKenzie, with the dedication of Ron MacKenzie’s trapper’s cabin, Camp Paradise.

The annual yard sale, across the street, will immediately follow the dedication ceremony until 3 p.m.
