The Friends of the Belgrade Public Library recently received its newly published, limited edition, hard-covered book, “Belgrade Libraries: Turning the Pages of Time from 1910-2016.”

The book describes the building of the first library in Belgrade Lakes, the bookmobiles in the area, the library at Belgrade Central School, the “seed” library at the Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons in Belgrade Lakes, the renovation project for the new Belgrade Public Library and the history of the Friends of the Belgrade Public Library.

The books cost is $20 each. Those who need a copy mailed, need to includes $5 for postage and handling. Books also can also be picked up at Day’s Real Estate office on Route 27 in Belgrade Lakes. The books will not be available for long. All proceeds benefit the library.
