The 111th Camden High School Alumni Banquet was held on Aug. 12 at Point Lookout with 185 in attendance, according to a news release from the Camden Alumni Association.

The Camden High School Alumni Association Board of Directors are grateful to all the sponsors, scholarship and auction donors for their generous contributions.

As in years past, the Silent Auction was a success because of all the alumni and businesses who donated to it.

Quality auction items are gratefully accepted throughout the year, and anyone wishing to donate can do so by contacting David Ames at damesref@tidewater.net, or by calling Ames at 789-5118.

Two of last years’ scholarship recipients, Eliza Boetsch and Nicki Fowlie, gave brief summaries of their first-year college experiences, which were very interesting.
