I’m writing in support of Jeff McCabe, who’s running for Senate District 3, which includes most of Somerset County. As the state representative for Skowhegan and East Madison, he’s been a strong voice for our communities and common sense.
Jeff’s made his living working outdoors, managing Lake George Regional Park and working as a registered Maine Guide. He’s now with the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, helping to ensure that Maine’s natural beauty is accessible to tourism.
He’s been a leader in protecting our forest products industry, and encouraged Buy American initiatives to preserve New Balance jobs in Norridgewock and Skowhegan. When the mill in Madison closed, he was there listening to workers who were losing their jobs.
Jeff doesn’t shy away from a challenge. I trust him to be responsive to the concerns of every voter, and to bring a common-sense approach to governing in Augusta.
